These children look happy. Do they really need my sponsorship?

The average Haitian income is around a dollar a day, so yes, they really do need your sponsorship. It is our hope that providing education to these children will provide them with a more promising future that helps break this cycle of poverty. Perhaps because of this poverty, many Haitian children find joy in the simplest of things. Cameras are luxuries that are beyond the reach of most Haitians in the Grand'Anse river valley, so being presented with the simple opportunity to have their picture taken often brings smiles to the faces of even the poorest of children.
