Pastor Fran Leeman
Pastor Fran Leeman
Pastor Fran Leeman is the founder of New Life for Haiti, and LifeSpring is the church he and his wife Linda started in the early 1990's. For about ten years since the late 90's, LifeSpring sent work teams to Haiti every year to help with construction tasks throughout the country. In July 2005, a group of "LifeSpringers", led by Pastor Fran, sat around a makeshift dinner table in Zanglais, Haiti while Hurricane Emily dumped rain outside. It was during this conversation that the idea for New Life for Haiti was conceived. LifeSpring continues to be an integral part of New Life for Haiti, sharing its office space and other resources to minimize costs.

Pastor Brian Miller of The Crossover Church, along with Pastor Fran Leeman and Pastor Eddie Hammond, were looking to how they could better serve the Kingdom of God. On a trip to Keller, TX to hear Pastor Bob Roberts speak on Church Planting, they were blown away when Bob told them to find some place hard in the world to work. After much prayer, we saw God opening an opportunity for us in southwest Haiti. The Crossover Church has fallen in love with the people of the Grand'Anse Valley and sends a mission team at least once a year to further the development work in and around the village of Marfranc.
