Sponsor A Child
You can change a child’s life for only $29 a month.  When you sponsor a child, you will be providing them with an education, vitamins, shoes, clothing, school books, and school supplies.  You will also have the opportunity to send and receive letters with them twice each year, and to send small gifts to them.  And if you wanted to join us for one of our many trips to Haiti each year, we can arrange for you to actually meet the child you sponsor.  Please consider changing a child’s life in this way!

Help Build a School
We are building new schools in villages throughout the Grande Anse River Valley and mountains.  The cost of a new school ranges from $30,000 to $50,000.  You can make a donation to help build the next one!

Clothes for Kids
We do collect clean, gently used children’s clothing, which we gather and ship to Haiti to be given away in the villages where we work.  Pam VanTassel oversees this program.  Items must be dropped off at LifeSpring Community Church, 14735 Wood Farm Road, Plainfield, Illinois 60544.

Have Your Business Do Something Big
Many businesses look for charitable opportunities they can feel really good about.  We think NLH is a great vehicle for you and your employees to do something amazing.  There are three possible ways to do this.  One is to simply make a donation (directly or as part of your company’s program of matching charitable contributions).

The second is to mobilize your employees in some way to raise funds for a specific project.  An amazing goal can be an inspiring and motivating thing.  Imagine your company getting motivated to raise all the funds needed to build one school ($30,000 - $50,000), or to build a hundred water filters ($6000).

The third way your business could help, if it is a retail operation, would be to have a small portion of every sale go to New Life for Haiti (the amount to be determined by you).  How great would your customers feel if every time they spent money with you, they were helping to build a school or provide water filters for poor families?

Attend the Chicago Area NLH Gala
Every October we hold an awesome dinner at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois (Chicago suburbs).  It’s our biggest annual fundraiser, and we’d love to have you join us for this great evening of awesome food, live music, and inspiration about what we are accomplishing together in Haiti.  The cost is $50 per person (to cover the cost of the meal).  This year's Gala will be held on Saturday, October 20.  Click here to register for this this year's Gala!
